Look at our 15 goals to achieve by the age of 25!  For each goal, write down one thing you are currently doing in your life (or should be doing) to work toward achieving that goal.  You will have 15 actionable examples (1 for each goal)

Assignment: Entrepreneur Web Article- Charting the Text

In Google Classroom, read the  article  "New ways to strike it rich on the Web." 

When you are done reading, summarize each of the sections in your words in the attached Google Doc in Google Classroom.  When summarizing, think about the Who, What, Why, How.  Who is the article about? What is the business they are doing? Why did they decide to create this business? How are they doing? (making money? Expanding? Failing?)

Take notes on the Power Point, watch the two Youtube videos and do the goal setting activity on the last page of the slide show.

Activity #1: Factors of Production Notes
Read pp 3-5 (Econ Textbook) to understand Land, Labor, and Capital and take notes on each factor.

Activity #2: Think of a product you use on a regular basis and write it down on your paper. Make a list of 20 things that go into the production of that product. (Things that have to happen in order for that product to be produced, not sold).  After you write down 20 things, write down whether it is an example of Land, Labor, or Capital next to each thing.

Activity #4. Make a Concept Map for both Scarcity and Shortage (in your notebook).  Refer to the attached example of a Concept Map.

Today we handed out the syllabus  Remember to have parent/guardian either electronic sign or print and sign by Friday September 13!

Login to Google Classroom, have parent/guardian read the syllabus and then fill out the electronic signature page and submit.
